How do you like your coffee my sweet?

I love coffee but I try to keep my intake down to only a few cups a week. Why? Because it's bad for me. No seriously - palpitations, increased heart rate, jitters, alertness that lasts for hours and I can't sit still or think straight. And also because I foresee a day when I'll need it at regular intervals and so I want to delay that even if only for a while.

During Ramadhan I give up coffee but not due to choice.

If I have it at the pre-dawn meal then I won't go back to sleep. If I have it after breaking fast then I won't fall asleep at night. Dilemma.

Right now I'm craaaving. Someone had mug of coffee and the aroma hit me so hard. I want.

ARGH! I want!!!

It's more a psychological need than a physical one, which is worse I reckon. So tomorrow I've pledged to not go back to sleep after the pre-dawn meal. Not because of coffee but because I'd have to be up an hour later anyway to go to uni. So I'll have a cuppa.

Espresso with two sugars (brown) and milk. I might even have two.

But we'll see how it goes. The last time I planned to not go back to sleep the warmth of my bed and my suede blanket lured me back.
